Big Art exhibition in Rotterdam

Overview

The Big Art exhibition was scheduled to take place from September 11 to 13, 2026, at the Codrico factory in Rotterdam’s Rijnhaven district. The event was designed to feature over one hundred artists presenting large-scale works, including paintings, light art, sculptures, photography, textiles, and installations.

Notable participants included Babette Kleijn, who planned a geometric wall piece, and Kirilla Mihai, who was set to present a large altarpiece within one of the factory silos. As part of Open Monument Day, the industrial site, a former flour mill, opened its doors to the public to showcase these large-scale art installations.
