Binance crypto and tokenized stock integration
Overview
Binance has begun a structural reorganization of its digital asset accounts to separate cryptocurrency balances from stock-trading settlement. Starting in late September 2026, the platform initiated a migration of non-stock crypto assets from Funding Accounts to Spot Accounts. Once complete, Funding Accounts will be renamed Stocks Accounts and will be dedicated to supporting specific assets like USD, USDC, USDT, USD1, U, and BNB for stock-option settlement.
Following this restructuring, Binance introduced bStocks, which are BEP-20 tokens on the BNB Smart Chain providing 1:1 economic exposure to US-listed equities. These products operate under a structure approved by the Abu Dhabi Global Market Financial Services Regulatory Authority. To facilitate adoption, the platform offered a fee-free, 1:1 conversion of select third-party tokenized securities—including those tied to Tesla, MicroStrategy, Coinbase, and Circle—into bStocks.
