Following its 7 August 2026 release in Japan, the live-action adaptation of the soccer manga Blue Lock has achieved major commercial success. Within its first ten days, the film earned over 730 million yen and reached 510,000 admissions. In Taiwan, the film surpassed 5 million TWD in its opening week, setting a record for Japanese manga-based live-action films over the last decade.
