BMSG agency anniversary art and craft projects

Overview

Music agency BMSG is conducting a multi-region experiential art project titled ‘BMSG OPEN THE SHUTTER’ to celebrate its sixth anniversary. The initiative involves decorating shopping district shutters in Aichi, Hyogo, and Fukuoka prefectures with mural art depicting 31 agency artists, including members of BE:FIRST, MAZZEL, HANA, and STARGLOW.

Through smartphone technology, visitors can access augmented reality (AR) content featuring artists singing, dancing, or speaking. The project also includes a collaboration with local artisans to create and sell traditional craft products, such as Hakata-ori, Kobe leather, and Yame lanterns, with profits supporting the preservation of these cultural techniques.

In addition to the art installations, the agency announced the ‘BMSG TRAINEE SHOWCASE 2026 WINTER’, scheduled for December 19–20, 2026, at Yokohama BUNTAI, which will feature trainees preparing for professional debuts.
