As Bogotá prepares for major economic and innovation events toward the end of 2026, the city is hosting several high-profile gatherings focused on agribusiness, technology, and urban renewal. In October, Expo Agrofuturo 2026 aims to connect over 350 companies with investors to leverage Colombia’s agricultural exports. In the technology sector, Invest in Bogotá is participating in GoFest 2026 to link startups with venture capital, while the Crad Art Fest 2026 will convene digital art and animation professionals in September. Urban development remains a priority, with ~~the~~ Bronx Distrito Creativo scheduled to host the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Cities Network Meeting in September to showcase renewal projects in the former ‘La L’ sector. IDPC director Diego Javier Parra Cortés noted that heritage serves as a tool to think about and build Bogotá's future as the city ~~looks toward~~ approaches its 500th anniversary in 2038.
