For the 2026 period, the bonus has increased from Bs200 to Bs300 per beneficiary, with over 2.2 million students expected to receive funds.

To simplify the collection process and reduce queues, particularly for unbanked families, Banco Unión is utilizing its YASTA mobile wallet. Parents and guardians can receive the benefit directly on their mobile phones, providing an alternative to direct bank deposits or payments at authorized agency windows. Through the YASTA platform, users can manage funds via transfers and digital transactions, or withdraw cash at authorized Banco Unión ATMs.

Banco Unión has confirmed that YASTA serves as an authorized method for distributing the Bs300 benefit, specifically targeting those without traditional bank accounts. While the digital tool aims to modernize the process by allowing beneficiaries to access funds without visiting physical branches, the bank maintains traditional modalities, such as direct collection at authorized agency windows and deposits into existing bank accounts, for those unable to use the mobile application.
