Borussia Dortmund youth talent recruitment

Overview

Borussia Dortmund is actively scouting young international players to strengthen its squad. Initial efforts focused on Brazilian goalkeeper Otavio, who carries a €100 million release clause, and Portuguese attacker Flavio Goncalves. The club is also prioritizing the internal development of 17-year-old American Mathis Albert.

Scouting efforts have since expanded into France, where the club is targeting Stade Rennais left-back Mahamadou Nagida and RC Lens midfielder Andrija Bulatovic. For Bulatovic, Dortmund faces competition from RB Leipzig and a high valuation from RC Lens, which reportedly seeks at least €25 million.
