The Bowling Green State University women’s soccer team began its 2026 season with an exhibition match against the Purdue Boilermakers at Cochrane Stadium. On September 12, the Falcons secured a 2-0 victory over the University of Detroit Mercy. Senior Ella Kane scored in the 21st minute, and freshman Mia Ugarte added a goal just before halftime. The team dominated the match with 25 shots compared to six from the Titans.
