In Rio de Janeiro, Mayor Eduardo Cavaliere announced free municipal public transportation for approximately 150,000 students during the November 2026 exam dates. Following negotiations with student movements, the city will provide a R$ 10 credit via the JaÉ ticketing system app for each exam Sunday. This R$ 3 million investment aims to reduce educational inequality by removing urban mobility barriers for low-income students.
