In early June 2026, the Ministry of Health allocated almost R$3 million for primary-care upgrades in Acre and R$500,000 for Felipe Guerra, Rio Grande do Norte. Senator Alan Rick continued his regional outreach, delivering vehicles and R$700,000 to charities in Rio Branco, supporting a new UFAC campus building with more than R$22 million, and adding R$1 million for school reconstruction and a sports court in Santa Rosa do Purus. He was honoured by Embrapa Acre for securing R$30.2 million for agricultural research. The federal INOVA programme supplied about R$20 million of construction and agricultural machinery to 44 municipalities in Rio de Janeiro, while Minas Gerais reported progress on land-title regularisation and irrigation kits. The new Hospital Estadual do Alto Tapajós in Mato Grosso received over 500 pieces of furniture and a R$15 million MRI and angiography system. The Ministry of Education’s Pé-de-Meia programme resumed in August after a scheduled July pause. The August disbursement window, running from 24 to 31 August, targeted public high school students (ages 14–24) and Youth and Adult Education (EJA) students (ages 19–24) who maintained at least 80% attendance during May and June 2026. To qualify, students must belong to a family registered in CadÚnico with a per capita income of up to half a minimum wage and hold a regular CPF. In September 2026, the program scheduled the sixth installment of the Frequency Incentive—amounting to R$200—to be deposited into Caixa Tem accounts between 21 and 28 September. Payments are staggered by birth month. Research from Insper suggests the program could lead to approximately 372,000 additional high school completions annually, potentially generating R$184.6 billion in economic and social benefits. ~~To remain eligible through 2027,~~ President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has announced that the Pé-de-Meia program will expand to include all public high school students ~~must maintain regular enrollment, meet minimum attendance requirements, and keep personal information updated~~ in ~~government databases.~~ Brazil starting in 2027.
