Brazil public service exam announcements

In late July 2026 the private non‑profit Fundação Carlos Chagas announced it would organize two public examinations in Brazil: a competition for 50 vacancies at the State Finance Department of Santa Catarina and a selection process for six positions at the Municipal Prosecutor’s Office in Manaus. Both contests require a law degree and OAB membership, with registration closing in early August and written tests scheduled for September.

A few days later, in early August 2026, two municipal pension institutes in São Paulo state disclosed their own upcoming public contests. The Caraguatatuba municipal pension institute offered seven positions ranging from driver to senior legal roles, with applications open through September and the selection to be managed by Fundação Vunesp. The Presidente Prudente municipal pension institute announced a contest for ten immediate vacancies across multiple education levels, to be organized by Fundação FAFIPA, with salaries ranging from roughly R$2,000 to R$11,000.
