In early July, Brazilian university scholars highlighted studies on art‑therapy interventions for foster children and the fashion politics surrounding Black identity. By late July, attention broadened to policy‑focused works: an analysis of Brazil’s abortion law calling for decriminalisation, and a review of public policies aimed at integrating Black youth into the formal labour market.

Later in July, research from ETEC Itararé examined corporate role‑playing games used with second‑year technical administration students, finding that extroverted participants improved communication more quickly while introverted students needed additional time but achieved comparable psychosocial skill gains. A separate paper from the Federal University of Bahia analysed Northeast income inequality (2016‑2023) with Gini‑index decomposition, noting a temporary decline in 2020 linked to emergency aid, followed by a rise and modest recovery. The study underscored the mitigating role of social‑transfer programmes such as Bolsa Família and minimum‑wage policies, and called for structural reforms to sustain reductions in disparity.

Together, these snapshots illustrate a continuing pattern of Brazilian academics tackling diverse gender, racial‑equity, youth‑employment, educational, and regional inequality issues within the country’s social‑policy debate.
