In early July, transit firms in Curitiba warned of a driver shortage as a six‑day workweek ended, highlighting staffing challenges for the city's public transport system.

By late July, Curitiba’s Setran and Rondonópolis’ Semob began issuing provisional signs and dedicated lanes for weekend events such as the Motorcycle Fest, a Trail Clube ride, the 10th Hospital Pequeno Príncipe race, and the 52nd Exposul fair.

The weekend of 29‑30 July saw a broader rollout: the Federal District reopened viaduct decks while closing streets for the Live! Run XP marathon; Campo Grande and the district of Anhanduí posted detours for a Fit‑Dance class and a community gathering; Maceió closed central streets and reversed traffic for its International Marathon; João Pessoa coordinated lane sharing for its 6th International Marathon; Porto Velho partially closed a roundabout for works; São Mateus do Sul blocked streets for a Polish Month parade; and the Rio‑Niterói bridge lost two lanes on Saturday night and a third on Sunday morning for the Desafio da Ponte half‑marathon, with extra ferry trips arranged.

Across Brazil, municipal traffic agencies continued to direct drivers to expect temporary road closures, detours and lane reversals for a series of sporting, cultural and community events, stressing compliance with signage and the presence of traffic officers to ensure safety.
