Brazilian Credit Cooperativism Congress

The 16th Brazilian Credit Cooperativism Congress (Concred) was held in Goiânia from August 26 to 28, bringing together approximately 5,000 participants. Organized by Sistema OCB/GO and the Confederation of Brazilian Credit Cooperatives (Confebras), the event focused on the theme “Financial Cooperativism: in the field and in the city, together in building a sustainable future.”

Discussions at the congress covered digital transformation, artificial intelligence, governance, and sustainability, with an emphasis on the sector’s role in financial inclusion and economic development. The event included the launch of a guide regarding the relationship between credit cooperatives and municipal public entities, and featured participation from organizations such as Sicredi Sudoeste and Cresol.

Prior to the event, Tecban announced its participation to present specialized services for credit cooperatives. The company aimed to showcase solutions for cash cycle management, including armored transport, custody, and smart safes, as well as self-service management tools like the ‘mini Banco24Horas’ to support merchants and promote cash recirculation in remote regions.
