Overview
Brazilian independent game developers have released several new playable demos and playtests on Steam.
Initial releases included a public playtest for the agricultural simulator ‘Harvest Skies: Crop Dusting Simulator’ by Digital Chiefs Studio, and a demo for the pixel-art roguelite ‘Garden Souls’ by Statera Studio.
Subsequent releases featured ‘The Last Brazilian’ by Estúdio Coração, a 16-bit style RPG set in a futuristic Brazil, and ‘Prison of Husks’ by Glass Head Dolls, a low-polygon gothic horror soulslike RPG scheduled for a 2027 release.
More recently, MetaProx Studio launched ‘Behind the Corner’, a first-person psychological horror game involving resource management and survival against an entity called the ‘Stalker’. The title includes a hospital and insurance mechanic for character deaths, with a multiplayer update featuring cooperative and asymmetric modes scheduled for October 31. Additionally, Goburin Studios released ‘10 Hours Before Sunrise’, an 8-bit style boomer shooter inspired by 1980s horror aesthetics, featuring both a story mode and an endless mode with competitive leaderboards.
