In Minas Gerais, analysts suggest the state may be breaking its historical pattern of its winner matching the national presidential winner, noting a growing trend toward the right. Concurrently, discussions regarding the Brazilian left suggest a need for leadership renewal to move beyond the current political cycle.

At the regional level, polling in Rio Grande do Norte shows narrowing margins between candidates Allyson Bezerra, Álvaro Dias, and Cadu de Lula, influenced by shifting endorsements. Recent DataVero/Diário do RN polling indicates that while Allyson Bezerra maintains a lead at 34.94% when endorsements are factored in, Cadu de Lula has seen growth, rising to 23.21%. Conversely, Álvaro Dias has experienced a decline in support.

In scenarios without specific endorsements, the gap between Álvaro Dias and Cadu de Lula has narrowed significantly, resulting in a technical tie within the margin of error. Allyson Bezerra has also strengthened his municipal base by securing support from the mayors of Pendências, Nísia Floresta, and Pureza—mayors who were previously aligned with Álvaro Dias. This shift has bolstered Bezerra’s presence in the Vale do Açu and the Metropolitan Region of Natal while weakening the PL’s local structure.
