The Ministry of Education’s 2025 Ideb release on 4 5 August 2026 confirmed the strongest overall growth since the index began in 2005, with the national early‑year score rising to 6.3 (above the 6.0 target), later‑year to 5.3 (still short of the 5.5 goal) and high‑school to 4.5 (below the 5.2 benchmark).
