Breast cancer awareness charity runs in Germany

Overview

In October 2026, community-led charity events were organized across Germany to promote breast health awareness and support cancer research.

In Castrop-Rauxel, the inaugural ‘Pink bewegt CAS – gemeinsam für Brustgesundheit’ event was scheduled to take place at the Bahnhofstraße stadium, featuring a 5-kilometer run and walking course. The initiative aimed to foster community connection through physical activity and donations.

In Castrop-Rauxel, approximately 1,000 people attended the ‘PINK bewegt CAS’ event despite stormy and rainy weather, raising 4,370 euros for the breast cancer center support association ‘Die Revierinitiative’.
