Bulgaria youth training programs

Overview

In late July 2026, Vivacom launched the pilot edition of its socially‑responsible Vivacom Job Lab, training 120 Bulgarian high‑school students in soft‑skill areas such as critical thinking, teamwork, communication, adaptability and digital literacy. The programme, modeled on United Group projects in the Balkans, included a special module for orphaned youths in Sofia and held workshops across Sofia, Blagoevgrad, Varna and Veliko Tarnovo, ending with a visit to Vivacom’s headquarters where participants presented career ideas.

A few days later, the Varna municipality reported a growing summer volunteer service involving 56 young volunteers in sports, social and environmental projects. Concurrently, Vivacom concluded its 23rd summer internship programme, hosting 55 participants who met senior executives and received training on career development, AI in telecommunications and new products. Over half of the interns typically continue with Vivacom, indicating the company’s expanding role in youth employment and skill development across Bulgaria.
