Bulgarian local government and medical commemorations

In mid-October 2026, various local administrations and professional sectors in Bulgaria held commemorative events.

On October 12, municipalities observed Municipality Day. In Targovishte, Mayor Dr. Darin Dimitrov was recognized by the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria for his work regarding municipal healthcare and medical staffing.
