The municipal government of Campo Grande has announced several administrative and legislative updates regarding public sector compensation and infrastructure. Following the sanctioning of new career and salary plans for Urban Mobility Fiscal Auditors, the city officially released a new wage scale for permanent teaching staff. This 5.4% salary increase, negotiated with the Sindicato Campo-Grandense dos Profissionais da Educação Pública (ACP), will be implemented in three stages: a 2% retroactive increase effective September 1, 2026, a 1.4% increase in December, and a final 2% increase in January 2027. To improve public security and emergency response, the Municipal Government School is launching training for civil servants to operate the Sinesp+ system. Additionally, the Municipal Health Secretariat (Sesau) is conducting a R$ 5.7 million bidding process for the continuous supply of prepared meals. Other regional developments include technical assessments of the Esplanada Ferroviária following storm damage, planned investments for drainage and paving in Jardim Santa Emília and Aquarius, and agrarian reform updates involving the selection of families for settlement projects and food supply programs.
