Capcom continued to refine Monster Hunter Wilds through July–August 2026. A 3.5 GB Patch 1.042.00.00 (4 August) removed the online-only requirement for all 25 Event and Challenge Quests, reordered the quest menu for offline play, and added direct progress transfer from the Prolog demo, alongside visual, audio and performance fixes for NVIDIA DLSS and AMD Radeon drivers.
