Cádiz CF corporate and management tensions

The Board of Directors of Cádiz CF announced plans to propose a reverse financial spin-off of Sport City Cádiz, S. L. during a General Meeting on September 30. This restructuring is intended to remove Sport City Cádiz from the club’s assets so that it no longer directly or indirectly affects the club’s financial accounts. While the companies will remain in the same business group, Sport City Cádiz will no longer be a subsidiary. The move will not change the ownership structure, though shareholders will transition from indirect to direct holdings in Sport City Cádiz.

Concurrently, the supporter group Plataforma 1910, representing 40 fan clubs, has called for protests against the club’s leadership. The group is demanding the resignation of the board of directors, specifically targeting the administration led by Rafael Contreras. Protesters have scheduled a demonstration at the Nuevo Mirandilla stadium prior to a match against Valladolid to reiterate their demands and address concerns regarding management transparency and financial dealings.
