Charity and community initiatives in Vietnam

Overview

Various charitable programs and community events have been organized across Vietnam to support vulnerable populations. In October, the ‘Connecting Love’ program, a collaboration between the Ministry of Public Security and the Vietnam Women’s Union, raised nearly 60 billion VND to assist women and children facing critical illnesses. This initiative included a 30 billion VND donation from representatives of Vietjet, Sovico, and HDBank.

In November, community support continued through large scale sporting events. The FV RUN 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City raised 1 billion VND from ticket revenues to fund surgical and medical costs for underprivileged children. Additionally, the Nomura Samurai Run Fest 2026 was held in Hai Phong to promote community connection through sports and charitable spirit.
