Charity initiatives for Croatian students
Overview
Various charitable organizations in Croatia have launched initiatives to provide school supplies to students in need ahead of the new academic year.
GNK Dinamo and its ‘Nema predaje’ foundation joined the ‘Nema predaje – ni u školi!’ campaign to support children in foster homes, social welfare institutions, and low-income families. The initiative scheduled collection events at Maksimir Stadium during matches in mid-August.
Other regional efforts included the Caritas Požega Diocese ‘Ruksak pun dobrote’ project, which provided kits to 400 primary school students through state-budget co-financing. Additionally, the association Udruga Mali zmaj organized the ‘Mali zmaj ide u školu’ program, providing equipment to 381 children, including preschoolers and high school students, with support from various corporate donors and volunteers.
