Chihuahua professional license discount initiative

Overview

The Chihuahua State Government, via the State Directorate of Professions, announced a 40 percent discount on state professional license procedures throughout October. The initiative seeks to encourage professionals to regularize their documentation, noting that only approximately 115,000 of the 315,000 active professionals in the state currently hold a state license.

The discount applies to title registration, the issuance and duplication of licenses, and authorizations for expert witnesses. Preferential rates are tiered by educational level, ranging from 318 pesos for technical levels to 555 pesos for specialties, master's, and doctoral degrees.

Procedures can be completed in person at locations in Chihuahua City and Ciudad Juárez, with documentation requirements and appointments managed through the official education portal.
