Choking emergency rescues in Argentina

Overview

In Argentina, emergency responders and bystanders successfully used the Heimlich maneuver to resolve choking incidents involving children.

In General Pinto, a police officer performed the abdominal compression procedure on a child who had swallowed plastic. In Moreno, volunteer firefighters responded to an emergency where an eight-month-old infant became unconscious due to an airway obstruction.
