This occurred alongside efforts by other Mexican officials, such as Nuevo León Governor Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda, who met with Texas business leaders and the Texas Office of Economic Development and Tourism to promote regional competitiveness through technology and innovation. Simultaneously, the city hosted the sixth edition of the Binational Meeting of Museums and Cultural Centers. Under the theme ‘Uniendo Fronteras’ (Uniting Borders), the event brought together artists, researchers, and cultural managers to foster exchange. The program addressed social divisions caused by political borders and migration, proposing that museums serve as spaces for dialogue and social repair.
