Club Africain de Bizerte pre-season preparations

Club Africain de Bizerte (CAB) has commenced its pre-season preparations under coach Mohamed Azaïez. Initial activities included a three-period friendly match against JSO at Ain Draham, which resulted in a 3-1 victory. Azaïez stated the match was intended to “re-connect with the ball” and rebuild cohesion following the departure of several foreign players.

As preparations progressed, the team completed its initial physical training phase five weeks ahead of the upcoming season. However, subsequent friendly matches produced mixed results, including losses to JSO and CA, and a scoreless draw against ESM. While Azaïez noted visible defensive progress, he indicated that offensive play requires further improvement. The squad is currently being strengthened by new recruits such as Mhamdi and Mejri.

On the administrative front, the club’s provisional committee is working to regularize affairs. Secretary General Saber Ben Barka reported that the club has addressed financial obligations to the tax administration, a step described as critical for securing participation in the 2026-2027 season.
