Cocaine trafficking arrests in Zurich

Overview

Police in Zurich arrested two Swiss men, aged 34 and 35, following a suspected drug trafficking operation in the industrial area of Langnau am Albis on September 17, 2026.

During the intervention, officers recovered approximately one kilogram of cocaine from a suspect’s backpack after an attempted flight. An additional kilogram of cocaine and more than 11,000 Swiss francs in cash were found in a second man’s vehicle. Both suspects have been transferred to the public prosecutor’s office as investigations proceed.
