Reports have emerged regarding separate incidents of passenger misconduct involving indecent behavior on commercial flights. In one instance on a Copa Airlines flight from Panama City to Rosario, Argentina, two passengers were arrested after being accused of engaging in sexual activity in business class. While some reports suggested a child witnessed the act, a witness testified that the six-year-old child nearby was asleep. The individuals were removed from the aircraft upon landing, though no charges were filed. In a separate incident on American Airlines Flight 1779, an Airbus A319 traveling from Baltimore/Washington to Miami, a female passenger was detained by law enforcement.
