Overview

In Tijuana, local officials and political figures are engaging in community outreach and public health initiatives. Acting mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz conducted door-to-door visits in the La Morita neighborhood to meet with Morena party members and discuss territorial agendas.

Concurrently, the Tijuana City Council has launched an affiliation drive for the ‘Tijuana Saludable’ preventive medicine program at the Mercado de Abastos. Led by municipal president Abdiel Gutiérrez Coronado, the program intends to provide free medical, dental, and laboratory services, along with basic medications and optometry, to more than 2,700 workers and their minor children.
