Overview

In Punta Arenas, Chile, several community health and fitness events have been organized to promote physical activity and wellness. The II Expo Fitness, hosted by the Municipal Sports Foundation and Sayes Runil Fitness Club at the Hotel Casino Dreams del Estrecho, attracted over 300 participants. The event included various disciplines such as Zumba, Strong, Body Combat, and Muay Thai, featuring a specialized Zumba Gold session dedicated to seniors.

In addition to the expo, a recreational event was held at the CORDENAP gymnasium to promote breast cancer prevention and early detection. Organized through an agreement between the Magallanes Health Service and the National Petroleum Company (ENAP), the initiative involved over one hundred women and provided access to the Palpa device, an educational tool for breast self-examination.
