In Fiumefreddo Bruzio, the ‘Festival per la Salute 2026’, organized by Casa di Rosa ETS, provides breast cancer screenings, specialist visits, and 3D mammographies in collaboration with Komen Italia and SIRPS. This is part of a broader movement of cancer prevention programs, including free senological screenings in Cavriago, head and neck cancer consultations at San Carlo Hospital in Potenza, and the deployment of a mobile prevention unit by the ASP of Catania to San Giovanni La Punta for oncological screenings. The ‘PerCORSA di Salute’ project is further expanding these efforts through a national tour in cities such as Trento, Monza, and Florence, focusing on respiratory disease screenings and counseling.
