Confartigianato Imprese 80th anniversary celebrations

Confartigianato Imprese and its local branches marked their 80th anniversary through various commemorative events.

At the European Parliament in Brussels, the organization held a high-level event to advocate for Italian micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Led by President Marco Granelli, the delegation met with European officials to promote the ‘Think Small First’ principle, emphasizing that EU regulations should account for the specific needs of smaller businesses.

In Cesena, celebrations focused on community integration and artisanal heritage. The event featured an exhibition of products from approximately sixty exhibitors and honored five local companies—Brighi, F. lli Mazzi, Ferro Bac, Soma, and Urbini Vittorio srl—for exceeding fifty years of activity and successful generational transitions. A central component was the ‘Ti regalo un sogno’ (I give you a dream) project, an artistic and inclusive initiative led by artist Giovanni Gaggia. Developed in collaboration with the L’Aquilone Cooperative and the Antica Stamperia Pascucci, the project connects artistic practice with social inclusion by utilizing the expressive gestures of residents at the L’Aquilone Rimini Center.

In Gambettola, the association inaugurated its new headquarters on Viale Carducci. The ceremony, attended by over 150 entrepreneurs and officials, included a ribbon-cutting and a blessing of the premises. During the event, businesses were recognized for long-standing membership, including a special plaque awarded to the historic bakery Pasolini Carlo to honor a 55-year career. Local leaders, including Mayor Eugenio Battistini and President Stefano Soldati, emphasized the vital role of artisan businesses within the community.
