Conrad Thompson and Roman Reigns media dispute

Overview

Podcaster Conrad Thompson has publicly criticized WWE wrestler Roman Reigns, arguing that the performer is “overrated.” While Thompson acknowledged the high quality of Reigns’ recent matches, he contended that the wrestler lacks the cultural impact and merchandise presence of industry icons like Hulk Hogan and does not belong on wrestling’s “Mount Rushmore.”

The situation escalated into a media dispute after Thompson labeled Reigns an “industry plant” during various appearances. In response, Reigns suggested on ‘Club Shay Shay’ that Thompson was using his name to generate views, describing himself as a “metric mover.” Thompson denied attempting to manufacture a feud for clicks, stating he is simply answering questions posed to him and is not seeking a “pissing contest” with the wrestler.
