Coros Pace 4 series updates and expansion

Overview

Coros has expanded the capabilities and product lineup of its Pace 4 series. In early September, a software update was released for the Pace 4, introducing full topographic mapping support and offline map downloads. This update allows for turn-by-turn directions and points of interest, though users are limited by the device’s 4GB of onboard storage.

On September 22, 2026, Coros released the Pace 4 Pro, a premium flagship AMOLED sports watch designed to compete with high-end models such as the Garmin Forerunner 970 and the Polar Vantage series. The Pro model features a titanium bezel, sapphire glass, and a 1.47-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a brightness of 3500 nits and a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels.

Hardware upgrades in the Pace 4 Pro include an Action button, an integrated microphone and speaker, and 32 GB of memory. These technical improvements enable Bluetooth phone call support, voice commands, and a ‘Voice Pins’ feature, which allows users to record geolocated voice notes during workouts. While the watch is slightly wider and heavier than previous models, it is thinner at 11.8 mm and offers a more fluid mapping interface and improved battery life, providing 60 hours of GPS tracking (46 hours with Always-On Display) and up to 21 days of battery life for daily use. The device is priced at $449 and is available in black and white, positioned as a versatile tool for running, triathlon, and cycling activities.

On October 12, 2026, Coros announced the expansion of the Pace 4 Pro into new markets, with an official launch scheduled for Malaysia on October 21, 2026. The Pro model distinguishes itself from the standard Pace 4 through enhanced battery endurance, dual-frequency GPS, and advanced health monitoring such as ECG and blood oxygen tracking.
