In late July 2026, TAURON Polska Energia confirmed a multi‑year partnership that grants it naming rights for all four top‑tier Polish volleyball leagues – men's and women's divisions plus their second tiers – starting with the 2026/27 season and extending through at least 2029/30. The agreement makes TAURON the sole sponsor across professional volleyball competitions in Poland.

At the same time, telecom operator Plus renewed its long‑standing role as the main sponsor of the Polish national men’s and women’s volleyball teams and continued as the league’s technology sponsor for another four years, marking nearly three decades of collaboration.

Two days later, the Polish Basketball League announced a 2025‑31 development strategy, and the report again highlighted the TAURON title‑sponsorship of the volleyball league, reinforcing the deal’s significance for the sport. The volleyball partnership was reiterated as running until at least the 2029‑30 season, with TAURON’s support framed as fostering teamwork values and bringing fans closer to the game. Preparatory matches for the 2026‑27 volleyball season were slated for August.
