Coverciano UEFA Pro coaching qualifications

Overview

The FIGC Technical Sector at Coverciano has announced the latest group of coaches to qualify for the UEFA Pro license, the highest level of football coaching certification. The program, which ran from September to June, included classroom instruction, field training, and internships at clubs such as Milan, Como, Cagliari, Genoa, and Racing Santander.

Among the newly qualified technicians are Franck Ribery, Samir Handanovic, Alessandro Diamanti, and Aleksandar Kolarov. Notable high achievers included Andrea Chiappella, Francesco Magnanelli, and Alexandre Nizelik, who each earned a perfect grade of 110/110.

Matteo Cecchetti, head coach of the San Marino Under-21 national team, also completed the course. For his final thesis, titled ‘Sfidare l’impossibile’ (Challenging the Impossible), Cecchetti examined the development of football in San Marino and the national team’s promotion to League C of the Nations League.
