Criminal investigations and arrests have been reported across Central America and Mexico involving various violent and exploitative crimes. In Panama and Guatemala, authorities have detained individuals in connection with homicides, including a femicide in Bocas del Toro and the murder of a woman in Guatemala. In Mexico, reports indicated legal proceedings regarding the attempted kidnapping and human trafficking of migrants in Chihuahua, as well as an arrest in Ciudad Juárez related to a 2023 kidnapping.
