CSG UAV propulsion expansion

Overview

Czechoslovak Group (CSG) is scaling its unmanned‑aircraft propulsion business across Europe and the United States. In July 2026 the company announced a joint‑venture plant in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, where it will begin series production of turbofan and turbojet engines for drones, targeting several thousand units per year by 2027. The project is backed by a €3 billion refinancing that lowers interest costs and supports the U.S. expansion.

Later that month CSG opened a technology centre in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic for its AviaNera Technologies subsidiary. The centre will develop advanced UAV propulsion systems, assemble a specialist workforce of up to 100 engineers, and build on CSG’s recent acquisition of Serbia‑based MUST Solutions. Both moves reflect CSG’s stated ambition to become a global supplier of next‑generation propulsion units for unmanned platforms.

Together, the U.S. manufacturing facility and the Czech R&D hub illustrate a coordinated strategy to combine large‑scale production capacity with advanced technology development, positioning CSG as a major player in the growing UAV engine market.
