CTM labor training expansion in Mexico
Overview
The Confederation of Mexican Workers (CTM) announced plans to expand a labor training and dialogue model, originally developed in Coahuila, throughout Mexico.
During a session of the Tripartite Council of Labor Relations in Saltillo, the union introduced two new diploma programs: one in Integral Management Development for Middle Management and another in Strategic Management of Labor Relations. These programs are designed to prepare supervisors and human resources personnel for changing workplace demands and to mitigate industrial disputes by strengthening relationships between companies and employees. CTM national president Tereso Medina Ramírez stated that the Coahuila experience, noted for successful labor pacts, will serve as a cornerstone for the union’s national strategy.
