Cultural and artistic events in Wrocław

Overview

Wrocław is hosting various contemporary art and photography events. The city’s independent art scene is highlighted by the fourth edition of the Wrocław Off Gallery Weekend, which opens independent galleries and studios to the public.

Photography exhibitions are also featured, including works by Igor Wójcik exploring the boundaries between reality and reflection, and the ZPAF Lower Silesia District’s annual exhibition, ‘Simultaneous Reality’, at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Additionally, the University of Wrocław Library has permanently added the ‘#ArtIsHope’ painting to its collection, a student-led initiative intended to serve as a manifesto for the presence of student art within the university.
