Cultural and charitable events in eastern Spain

Overview

Cultural and charitable events are being held across the Valencian and Alicante regions of Spain.

In mid-August, Xàbia hosted the ‘Nit de Sant Bartolomé’ featuring candle lighting and musical performances. Simultaneously, Benitatxell launched the ‘Literatura a la fresca’ literary festival and the ‘Art al carrer’ exhibition, which displayed feminist art on local balconies, including works recovered from mud following a DANA weather event.

By September, festivities expanded in the Alicante region. Finestrat scheduled the Cala de Finestrat celebrations, which included a charity race organized by Cáritas.
