Recife is hosting various cultural and dance-related events. The “Trilhas da Pelve” itinerant workshop cycle, coordinated by Vivian Marvel, is opening registrations for pelvic dance classes held across six COMPAZ community center units from September 5 to October 11. In addition to these workshops, the city is hosting a Jazz Dance workshop led by Lucas Maia at the Centro de Artes Grupo Vida in late August. Simultaneously, the ‘Viva Recife’ festival will begin began on September 2 at the Copacabana beachfront in Rio de Janeiro. This initiative aims to promote Pernambucan culture and tourism through gastronomy, music, and traditional dances such as frevo, maracatu, and coco. coco, offering sensory experiences and interactive installations to residents and tourists.
