Cultural and literary events in Valencia region

Overview

The Valencia region hosted various cultural activities throughout early November. Scheduled theatrical performances included a production starring Lola Herrera in Torrent and the commencement of the XVII Mostra de Teatre Amateur “Juan Manuel Ferraro”, which showcases amateur theater from the Valencian Community. A dramatized reading in Paiporta focused on a satirical reflection regarding political responsibilities following the 2024 Dana floods.

Subsequent cultural celebrations included the 38th Ciutat d’Alzira literary awards, which distributed 75,000 euros in prizes across several categories, including narrative, poetry, and theater. Additionally, the Festa Estellés in L’Alcúdia de Crespins integrated music and literature, featuring singer-songwriter Pau Alabajos and the presentation of the XXIV Enric Valor prize and the XXI Toni Ferrer prize to promote creation in the Catalan language.
