Vietnam is hosting several major cultural and organizational events. The Vietnam Cinema Association convened its 10th Congress for the 2026–2031 term, focusing on innovation and the development of a modern, humane cinema and television industry. During the event, officials emphasized cinema’s role in reflecting reality, preserving national memory, and promoting Vietnamese culture internationally. The festival has transitioned from a local Mid-Autumn celebration for children into a major community event for domestic and international tourists. Local residents serve as both creators and participants; currently, 129 unique Mid-Autumn lantern models have been completed by various communes and wards. From these, 40 representative models from five central wards will be selected for a parade. To manage the event, authorities are implementing stricter safety inspections for the models and regulations on attire. The festival will also include an agricultural festival, food stalls, a marathon, and off-road vehicle displays.
