Overview

Cluj-Napoca has hosted various cultural and seasonal events aimed at promoting regional heritage and local production.

In the summer of 2026, the ARC Camps Program brought approximately 960 Romanian youths from the diaspora—including participants from Italy, the Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine—to Cluj County. The initiative focused on exploring history and culture through visits to the Transylvanian Ethnographic Museum and the National Museum of Transylvanian History. Alin Tișe, President of the Cluj County Council, characterized the support for the program as a “duty of honor” to strengthen the identity of young Romanians living abroad.

Following these cultural programs, the city scheduled the Harvest Days festival for mid-September. The event features over 100 producers and artisans showcasing seasonal goods, traditional preserves, and handmade crafts, accompanied by folk music and dance performances.
