Cultural music projects in João Pessoa

Cultural music projects are being held in the historic center of João Pessoa with support from the João Pessoa Cultural Foundation (Funjope).

In early September, the 13th edition of the Beco Underground project was scheduled to feature rock music, including performances by the Paraíba-based band Goromax and artists from Pernambuco. The initiative aims to provide cultural alternatives for youth and promote the occupation of the city’s historic center.

By mid-September, the Batalha do Beco project brought hip hop to Praça Rio Branco. This event, also supported by Funjope, features various musical acts and DJs to strengthen the hip hop scene and provide spaces for youth artistic expression.
