Czech Republic regional road infrastructure maintenance

Various regions in the Czech Republic are undergoing infrastructure maintenance and repairs, leading to localized traffic disruptions.

In the Karlovy Vary region, repairs to a historical bridge in Mariánské Lázně and rockfall mitigation work on the I/20 road near Teplička are causing detours and safety measures. These projects, involving bridge restoration and the installation of steel netting and protective fences, are expected to conclude by the end of October.

Simultaneously, the Vyškov region is managing multiple road closures and restrictions. In Vyškov, Revoluční Street, which underwent a full daytime closure from August 3 to August 30, will transition to a partial closure and then a subsequent full closure for paving works through late September. Joklova Street is also facing closures near construction sites, while Trpínky, Dukelská, and Olomoucká streets are affected by various restrictions through late September.

Other regional impacts include sidewalk reconstruction in Podivice, which utilizes alternating one-way traffic through September 10, 2026. In Hoštice-Heroltice, roadwork on sections 4285 and 4286 has been extended until the end of September, affecting local residents and bus services. Additionally, sidewalk construction on road III/4314 in Kučerov is scheduled to continue through August 31, 2026.
